Scribbler 3.0
What A Novel Computational Scribbling Approach Allowing for Continuous Line Output
Which Starting in 1980, I was an assistant for Harold Cohen at UCSD who was one of the early computer artist pioneers who made machines that made art and wrote software the created worlds according to rules. Specifically he made his own plotters and robots that drew. I also worked with Harold on software for filling shapes with scribbles. I continued that work with a real-time video scribbler in 2005 called impalpable, but I was never happy and finally in 2024 I came up with a simple solution that is more human like. The new approach uses a feedback loop and gradient descent to gradually scribble in a desired target image.

Why Never was satisfied with original approach.
